Dignified After-Life Care for Your Pets
As a pet parent, you will do anything to protect your pet while ensuring they live a healthy, happy life. But when your pet’s life is coming to an end, or your pet has passed away, you want to honor them with the same love, respect, and care that you gave them in life. Our team is here to help you navigate their end-of-life and after-life care with kindness and compassion, while helping to ensure your pet transitions peacefully.
Our Passion for Compassion
Here at Heavenly Paws Pet Aquamation, we are here for you, your family, and your pet during this difficult time. As lifelong pet parents ourselves, we understand first-hand the heartache that comes along with losing a pet, which is why we provide pet parents in Atlanta with the very best end-of-life and after-life care for their pets.
We want to care for pets with the utmost respect as they move into the end-of-life stage, or once they have passed away. We offer the following services for our friends and neighbors all throughout Atlanta and beyond.
When the time has come for your pet to cross the Rainbow Bridge, helping them begin that journey may be the best option for their well-being. We understand that making the decision and planning the arrangements to help your precious companion make their final journey is one of the most heartbreaking experiences you will ever undergo. We are here to help shoulder the burden of making the arrangements for your pet’s transition with on-site pet euthanasia services and in-home euthanasia services. By providing you and your pet with a comfortable and private space, you can spend quality time with them before, during, and after they peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge.
Pet aquamation is a gentle, eco-friendly alternative to traditional pet cremations. Once your pet has passed away, you may request aquamation services directly through Heavenly Paws, or through your veterinarian. Once your pet is in the compassionate care of our experienced team, we will gently lay your pet’s body into an alkali bath to undergo the process called “alkaline hydrolysis.” The bath is infused with salts similar to those found in soils that help break down your pet’s body over time if they were buried. Once their body has completely broken down, aquamation leaves behind about 20% more ash when compared to conventional cremations while using 95% less energy than flame-based cremations.
It is never easy to think about your pet’s life coming to an end, but having a sound end-of-life plan in place for your pet can help you honor them when they pass with love and dignity, just as you did during their life. Additionally, preparing ahead for your pet’s passing can make it a much more peaceful transition for you, the pet parent, so that you can focus on celebrating their life, grieving for them, and remembering the beautiful life you shared together. We are here to help make this time as peaceful for you as possible, which is why we can help you plan their end-of-life and after-life care.
We understand that end-of-life and after-life care can be unexpected expenses that you may not have planned for. But we do not want limited funds to keep you from honoring your pet as they transition or once they have passed. We are proud to offer financing options to assist you during this difficult time through Square Capital. This program can help cover expenses related to, but not limited to:
- On-Site Pet Euthanasia Services
- Aquamation Services
- Memorial Items
We understand that the pain you will experience from losing your pet is a feeling that may never go away, but it does heal with time. It is important to grieve for your pet, which is why we offer resources to help you find grief support. From online resources to literature for both adults and children, we encourage you to take advantage of these outlets to help you cope with your loss. You may also follow our blog to read insightful articles that offer grief support, too.
We have a special pet tributes page where you can share your stories, memories, and pictures of your pets with others. This can be helpful when you are mourning the loss of your pet, and can also help others who are going through a similar experience with their own pet. We invite you to share your stories with us.
